about me

Art is a prayer, a sacred dance with the universe.

“Alejandro Jodorowsky”

Through my art, I invite you to join this dance,

connect with yuor creative power,

and transform the world.

I create images with my body.

My practice explores art as a living device for relationship, operating at the intersection of aesthetics and care through painting, sculpture, and performance. I investigate the feminine not as an iconographic theme, but as a primordial source capable of mending contemporary fragmentation, driven by the profound conviction that art has the power to heal, unite, and bring care.

Drawing from Jodorowsky’s psychomagic and Maria Lai’s relational art, I translate research into ancestral memory into contemporary rituals through a plastic and pictorial inquiry that utilizes materials dense with history, weathered canvases, and organic-shaped ceramics. In this process, aimed at giving form to a poetics of fragility, limitation is never an obstacle but fertile material for transformation.

This investigation expands naturally into relational and land art, where I activate co-creative processes and ‘temporary autonomous zones’: installational spaces where plastic gestures and somatic movement reactivate the dialogue between the body and its territory.

My art thus functions as a participatory rite: a necessary practice to inhabit places and heal the disconnections of our time, shifting individual reflection toward a dimension of shared belonging.”

I am fascinated by the concept of art as an exchange between human beings and divine entities. For me, art is a ritual, and rituals require complicity with gods and goddesses, but most importantly, with nature.”

     biography

Laura Rambelli is a multidisciplinary artist renowned for her immersive performances and land art installations that explore femininity, healing, and the spiritual connection between body and nature. Her practice focuses on art as a bridge to rediscover ancestral feminine wisdom in a disconnected world.

Through painting, ceramics, land art, and performance, she creates transformative rituals using natural materials, fabrics, and soundscapes that celebrate imperfection and spontaneity. Influenced by ancient goddesses and esoteric traditions, her work merges bodily movement, sensory art, symbolic imagery, and profound emotionality. Her performances invite audiences to reconnect with their roots and fully inhabit their bodies, awakening the collective memory that healing occurs in community and that the sacred feminine is a regenerative force for our fragmented times.

Her works have been featured in numerous exhibition catalogs and local art fair publications, documenting her significant contribution to the contemporary art landscape. She has participated in prestigious artist residencies that have allowed her to deepen her research and develop site-specific projects.

Her artistic expertise extends to collaborations with public institutions and educational organizations, where she shares her knowledge through workshops, laboratories, and educational projects that introduce new generations to art as a tool for transformation and personal growth.

Based in Italy, Laura Rambelli has exhibited in various European art galleries and created site-specific works including a permanent public installation in a lake in the province of Ravenna (Italy). Her practice demonstrates that contemporary art can serve as medicine for individual and collective transformation.

I am always open to collaborating with like-minded individuals who resonate with my artistic philosophy.
